Lady adores her daily walks--she carries herself with such poise, it's as if she's leading a royal parade. With every step, she soaks in the world around her, content simply to be by your side. She would thrive in a calm, loving home, especially one shared with an older couple who appreciates the quiet companionship of a dignified dog.
Lady prefers to reign as the sole pet in her castle. She's earned her peace and enjoys the undivided love of her people. No longer needing to stand guard, all she wants now is to share her remaining years with someone who sees the queen she truly is.

Tessa is three years old. She’s been spayed and will be up-to-date on all of her shots! Here is what the shelter said about her:
Introducing Tessa, our very own chaos goblin with the heart of gold! this girl has energy for days… If enthusiasm was currency, she’d be a billionaire by now!
She loves kids, though not the toddler variety (because being picked up like a sack of potatoes is not her vibe ) she enjoys most other dogs and has a complicated relationship with cats . At the shelter, she’s all, “ wow, what lovely feline friends”…. And then at home she’s like: “CHASE MODE ACTIVATED!!”
Tessa’s favorite place is outside, where she runs around like she’s training for the Zoomie Olympics. She spent months at the dog pound before we swooped in and rescued her but now she’s just been hanging out at the shelter, waiting for her forever home and honestly? She’s wondering what the holdup is!
