We know many families have two working adults and we don't expect anyone to be a super hero and quit a day job just to be able to take home a puppy. Every puppy family has different needs, and this information form helps us identify who needs what information and what homes might make the best fit. If you're a veteran puppy owner, we don't want to waste your time regaling things you already know; by the same token, if this is your first puppy, we want to make sure you leave prepared for what life with a puppy may bring.

We do have a referral program! If you were referred to us by someone, please include their name in the “How Did You Hear About Us” section so they can receive a small token of our thanks!

Ownership Commitment

The puppy you choose will be available to go home on the date specified per litter on the website. Will you be able to take this puppy home on that date?

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Doxies and Doodles Premium Puppies, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.
 
APPROVAL AND RESERVATION FEE: Applications will be reviewed within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit, you will be notified FIRST by TEXT (so make sure your phone number is correct on your application). Approved homes will receive the approval to make a commitment deposit on a puppy, and links for GoodDog.com. Email/text will be sent out in the order approved applications were received. Please make this deposit within 48 hours of the approval notification. If you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from one of our litters, and if we don't have the color or gender available in the litter you are on, you have the option to transfer to another litter or wait for your color/gender of choice. Any reservation fees are NON refundable.

GOING HOME: You are required to pick up your puppy on the day assigned for Pick ups. We do offer a daily boarding rate of $40/day if you cannot pick up the day we assign.

CONTRACT: We have a contract for our puppies and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

SPAY/NEUTER: We require spay/neuter at or before 12 months. Occasionally we offer the opportunity for qualified breeds to obtain breeding rights on the TOP pick of the litter. Not every dog in the litter has the genetic makeup to improve the breed.
 
REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our excellent family companions do not come with registration papers to any registry. The parents of our puppies are registered through AKC or CKC, depending on the breed. Our Dachshund Puppies may be sold with limited registration if requested. Limited Registration papers are given once written proof of spay/neuter procedure is submitted.
